With a vision for building something meaningful, Josh brings a blend of big-picture thinking and hands-on experience. Having been part of the growth of The Crossings Addiction Services, Inc. (The Crossings Services), which became The Crossings Ministries, Inc. in late 2022. He was instrumental in getting the recreational youth sports launched in Hardee County that was open to all kids, regardless of their skill level, and kids had fun! He is excited to resurrect the youth sports program and start discipling and mentoring up-and-coming athletes. His love of sports and his desire to see kids achieve their dreams are passions of his. A shining example of his leadership and personal coaching is his son Josh, who is now a wide receiver and on their special teams for a Division I college team. Reinforcing substance abuse education and promoting prevention is a priority to him.

Focused, approachable, and driven by his love for people, Duane is all about building strong relationships. His 20+ years of sobriety allow him to lend his strategies and recovery life skills to others. He has worked in the field of recovery for over 20 years. Having been a founder of The Crossings Addiction Services in 2017 (The Crossings Services), which became The Crossings Ministries, Inc. in late 2022. The quick growth of that organization meant closing the outpatient services offered in Hardee County and a small recovery residence to open up what became a 90-bed residential treatment program. He is excited to be back in the Heartland Region again full-time to give back to the communities he grew up in and help others achieve lasting sobriety. Being a sports fan himself, he is thrilled to resurrect our youth sports again to allow youth in the Heartland Region to have fun, mentor them, and begin partnering with local organizations to promote drug and alcohol education and prevention.
