Changing Heartland communities, one person at a time.
Routeād In The Heartland Ministries, Inc. is a church dedicated to changing the route of youth and adults in underserved communities by providing a foundation of biblical truths through fellowship, mentorship, organized youth sports events, and adult sober living, offering a clear path towards a successful and purpose-driven life.
Our journey began with building a nonprofit from the ground up, pouring our hearts into its foundation until it truly thrived and established a foothold in the recovery community in the Suncoast (Southwest Florida) Region. Seeing it reach maturity allowed us to confidently transition the leadership, intentionally releasing the organization into capable new hands so we could step out into a fresh calling. This freedom lets us focus on dedicating this ministry to our local communities, with our original team, and returning to the simplicity of a Christ-centered mission in the Heartland Region. Our focus is now on transforming our region through direct, relationship-driven outreach that meets people exactly where they are. We are actively transforming the lives of youth by fostering genuine fellowship, mentoring, organizing youth sports, character development, and promoting substance abuse awareness and prevention programs. Simultaneously, we are extending a lifeline to adults battling dependency by providing accessible outpatient recovery support and establishing structured, stable adult sober living environments.
Leading people to transformation through Christ-centered teaching.
āFor I know the plans that I have for you,ā declares the Lord, āplans for prosperity and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.ā Jeremiah 29:11

The only foundation we believe wholeheartedly will change and restore a life is Jesus. Our mission is to point individuals to Him and allow God to do the rest. Youth ministry events bring young people together through worship, service projects, and fun community activities that build faith, character, and lasting friendships; organized youth sports and college-bound athlete programs teach teamwork, discipline, and time management while offering mentorship on balancing athletics, academics, and spiritual growth; leaders emphasize resisting peer pressure and avoiding substance use by creating safe spaces for honest conversation, teaching decision-making skills, and modeling healthy boundaries.
For adults struggling with addiction, the ministry provides sober living housing, outpatient recovery support, and faith-based counseling to help residents rebuild stability, reconnect with community, and sustain long-term recovery through accountability, access to vocational assistance, and compassionate pastoral care.
Investing in our youth to realize their potential and create opportunities.
